Paula Marie Mader

Paula Marie Mader (Rohloff), age 73 of Menasha, WI passed away on January 19, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born to Paul and Mildred (Quimby) Rohloff on November 25, 1952 in Appleton, WI. After graduating from Appleton West High School with the class of ’70 and went on to become a seamstress, both for her family and professionally. Paula met Allan Mader while out with friends at a local watering hole. She was immediately smitten and, after Al took the time to get to know her and court her, they were married on March 30, 1973. Soon after, they began to create their family in the Fox Valley.

Paula was, as many know, a very meticulous and detail-oriented person. She was always in charge of the most detailed jobs, such as placing the tiles in for new flooring and hanging the decorations on the Christmas tree every year. In part, this is something that helped her become such a talented seamstress, even going so far as to sew her daughter’s entire wedding dress. Paula was quite the entertainer and always knew how to throw a good party. She was also known for her talents with baking, with a particular favorite being her cherry bars. More than anything, though, Paula loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with her beloved husband, her kids, her grandkids, and her fur babies, Lacey and Angel.

Paula is survived by her children, Chad (Cheri) and Jess (John); her grandchildren, Johnathan and Sophia; her siblings, Richard (Linda), Chuck (Linda), Ed (Lisa), Jerry (Karen), and Laurie; her siblings-in-law, Lois (Jerry), Marlene, Steve (Mary), Gary (Diane), Rick (Linda), Dale, Dennis (Gina), Gerard (Dawn), and Janice (Craig); as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.

Paula is preceded in death by her husband, Allen; parents, Paul and Mildred; her daughter, Tina; her siblings, Mark, John, Barbara, and Karen; her brother-in-law, Tommy; her parents-in-law, Adrian and Ceil; and her step-dads, Bob and George.

A memorial visitation will be held for Paula from 11 AM – 1 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a memorial service to follow at 1 PM. Paula will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sherwood, WI.

Paula’s family would like to extend an extra special thanks to her sister, Laurie, for all of her love and compassion shown to Paula, helping to get her to her appointments on time and keeping her company when she was feeling lonely. Special thanks as well to the doctors, nurses, and other supporting staff at Rennes and ThedaCare Hospitals for all of their expertise and care given during Paula’s times of need.
