Mr. Robert Lee Muse was born on March 21, 1947, in Holly Springs, MS, to the union of Mr. Plue Muse and Mrs. Carrie Lee Muse.
Mr. Robert Lee Muse received formal education from Porter Junior High, Booker T. Washington High, and Orange Mountain College. He was a dedicated employee for Ford Motor Company, KC Water Department, and later retired from Western Electric. He exhibited an unparalleled work ethic benefitting his employers. He also maintained a top-notch auto mechanic shop where his clients received excellent service.
He carried a love for music throughout his entire life. It was evident as he and his classmates created The Mad Lads, his first singing group. He and The Mad Lads performed and won several singing competitions throughout Memphis.
Mr. Muse had many interests and hobbies, including fishing, watching boxing & wrestling matches, playing bingo, casino slots, playing cards and a love for Cadillacs. Most of all, he enjoyed family time and spoiling the grands and great grands.
Mr. Muse had faith in God as a member of Jesus Is The Way non-denominational Church, Bishop S. L. Williams of Kansas City, MO.
Preceding Mr. Muse in death are his parents, Plue and Carrie Muse, his brothers Johnny Muse and William Muse, nephew William Muse Jr., daughter Shanta Rhodes Muse, & great grandson Baby C.
He received his wings on August 19, 2023, at his home in Kansas City, MO.
He leaves to cherish his memories a supportive wife, Bonnie Stewart Muse; children, Yolanda Willingham, Reginald Johnson, Robert Muse II, Shanta (Gregory) Muse-Williams; grandchildren, Marshonda Willingham, Reginald Johnson II, Marleena Willingham, Regina Johnson, Relina Johnson, DeShonna Womack, LaDesha Hobbs, LaMart Hobbs Jr., Realelove DeFrance, Alena DeFrance. Great grandchildren; Reginald Johnson III, Raven Johnson, Ra'Quize Moore, Za'Niya Staples, Rae'Viona Johnson, Rickey Johnson, and a host of other family and friends
