Robert Franklin Myers, 84 of Cleveland, TN, passed away June 30, 2025, at his residence. "Bobby", born March 3, 1941, son of the late Woodrow and Beaulah (Grider) Myers, spent his early years in the Big Springs Community of Meigs County.
As an adult "Bobby" would make his home in the Birchwood area. His furniture building skills would be admired for more than 40 years at Jackson Furniture Mfg.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; brother, Cecil Myers; two sisters, Anita Smith and Frances Earls. Also, son-in-law, Danny Ruef.
Left to cherish sweet memories are daughter, Shelia Ruef; brother, Hershel Myers and sister, Estelle Sink. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Sample Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a long-time member. The family will welcome friends 11:00-1:00 with the service to immediately follow. "Bobby" will then be laid to rest in the Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastors Lee Ingram, Mark Cameron and Eric Geren.
