Robert Naquin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McNutt Funeral Home - Conroe on Feb. 18, 2026.
Robert Lynn Naquin passed away on February 16, 2026. He was born in Houston, TX on August 12, 1968, to parents Arthur and JoAnn Naquin.

He is survived by his son Kyle Naquin; his stepchildren Cara Floyd, Jacob Floyd; fiancé Sonya West; brother, Brian Day (Ester); his sisters, Deanna Tauriello, Denise Naquin; his nieces, Gena Burns, Danielle Tauriello, Dana Tauriello; his nephews, Justin Naquin, Michael Naquin; his uncles, Thomas Naquin (Leann), Kenneth Naquin (Kimberly); his cousins he grew up with, Edward McHenry, Robert McHenry, Vicky McHenry, Vera McHenry, and other numerous cousins, many great nieces and great nephews as well and many close friends.

Raised in Pasadena, TX, he became an industrial electrician following high school and later tried out many jobs, but eventually found his calling with AT&T. He worked with AT&T for over 25 years and worked his way from digging trenches for cables to fiber engineering. While there, he made many lifelong friends. In 2010, he made the decision to move to Conroe, and there he and his father, Arthur, raised his son, Kyle.

He was not a person to sit still and constantly learned new skills. He could build cars, fix almost any machine, build computers, grow his own food, rebuild homes, and was always ready for new challenges. But most of all, he was always the person willing to jump in the car and come over to help. When he was 20, faith found him and he was saved. He spent the next year on missionary in Haiti. When he returned, he did some ministry studies in Tennessee. He walked out his faith.

His service is being held at McNutt's Funeral Home, 1703 Porter Rd, Conroe, TX, 77301. The visitation is from 9-10am and the service will be held for 10-11am. A graveside service will occur immediately following the funeral service. A reception will be served after the graveside service.

Due to Robert's dedication to helping others, the family is asking in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Samaritan's Purse: www.samaritanspurse.org
