Throughout his life, his wife and family were always his priority. He was undeniably a humble, patient, infinitely loving and admirable person. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others smile and laugh. Selfless in many ways, he was always available to help those around him in any way he could and never asked for anything in return. He was an unsung hero.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Robert B. Nicholas, Jr., and brothers, Ken Nicholas and John Nicholas. He is survived by his wife, Helen Nicholas; his grandson, Mick Nicholas; his granddaughter-in-law, Samantha Nicholas; his great-granddaughter, Wynnell Nicholas; his daughter-in-law Margaret Vacchi; and his grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law Gabriel Nicholas, Jenna Nicholas, Cierra Mathews, Cheyanne Mathews, David Mathews and Tristan Amant.
