Robert "Bob" Nitti

Robert Leonard "Bob" Nitti, 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Yonkers, New York, to the late Leonard and Ann Nitti, Bob spent his early years in New York and New Jersey before his family settled in Easton, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Easton High School. As a young man, he developed a lifelong passion for cars, motorcycles, and football. Bob went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Kean University, followed by a Master's degree in Economics, accomplishments that reflected his determination and drive early in life.

Bob built a long and successful career in the insurance and risk management field, serving in leadership and development roles at companies including Meeker Sharkey and Arthur J. Gallagher. Throughout his career, he valued both the work he did and the relationships he formed, guiding teams with integrity and dedication. He retired as an Area President, proud of the lasting impact he made on the organizations and people he worked with.

Outside of his professional life, Bob embraced time spent with family and friends. An avid boater, he especially enjoyed time with his family at the Jersey Shore. He loved going out to dinner and valued meaningful conversation, laughter, and shared experiences with those closest to him. His family meant a great deal to him, and he was happiest when they were together.

Bob is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Kathy Ellen Nitti; his two loving children, Robert Dain Nitti and his wife, Tabitha, and Kyle Anthony Nitti and his wife, Kimberly; his adored grandson, Lincoln Hawk Nitti; his dear brother, Leonard Nitti; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Ann Nitti.

Services will be held later this spring, with details to be shared by his family.
