Bonnieville – Robert Nunn Jr., 80, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Southern
Kentucky in Bowling Green on Monday, July 22,2024.
His working career included Travel World Camper Factory in Bonnieville, a cooper at
Seagram's in Louisville, an assembly line operator at General Electric in Louisville, self-
employed dozer operator, and a farmer.
He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Rob" Willis Nunn; his mother, Lettie
Sallee Nunn; six brothers, Lively E. Nunn, Lesley Nunn, Curt Nunn, Kenneth Nunn,
Albert Nunn, and David Nunn; three sisters, Flossie Goodman, Joyce Cornett Houk, and
Vickie Gail Nunn.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Reynolds Nunn; his son, Robert Eric
(Stacy) Nunn and their children, Brooke, Savanna and Caden; his daughter, Tricia (Les)
Kirkpatrick and their children, Riley and Michael; his daughter, Robin (Daryl) Michelle
Marcum and their children, Jade Puckett and Justin Marcum; nine great grandchildren,
Tristan Puckett, Treyton Puckett, Trevor Puckett, Abby Puckett, Emily Puckett, Raven
Cox, Heidi Hall, Vincent Hall, and Olivia Kirkpatrick and his sister, Mary Leanora Moore,
Fishersville, IN;
The funeral service for Robert Nunn, Jr. will be 1pm Wednesday, July 24th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Purlee officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm and will continue after 8am Wednesday at the Sego Funeral Home. Burial will be at the
Memorial Park Cemetery in Bonnieville. Pallbearers will be David Dye, Chris Dye,
William Dale Dye, Michael Skaggs, Michael Puckett, Les Kirkpatrick, Daryl Puckett, and
Nick Sharp. Honorary pallbearers include Daryl Marcum, David Breeding, Wayne Miller,
Gary Moore, Joe Cottrell, Kris Bailey, Jeff Walters, Donald Lynn Dye, and Dennis Amos.
