Bob was already a legend when I arrived at Kingswood Oxford in the fall of 1979. He was considered a statesman on campus for all of the newbies who joined the school long after him. Always polite, approachable and easy to talk with, along with his ready sense of humor. I always looked up to him as a class act and someone to emulate as a teacher and colleague. I'm happy I got to know him and I send my condolences to his loving family.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember Latin I class with him at KO like it was yesterday.
