Donohue Funeral Home - WayneRobert K. “Bob” O’Driscoll, age 83, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away on February 17, 2026. Born in Sheboygan, WI, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Ruth O’Driscoll (nee Kathke).
Bob was the beloved husband of Rose M. O’Driscoll (nee Woytowich); loving father of Rob O’Driscoll (Stephanie); adoring grandfather of Laney O’Driscoll; caring brother of the late Jeanne Morton (George) and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was born in Wisconsin but moved to Broomall in high school. He graduated from Marple Newtown High School where he was a First Team All-Delco Linebacker, and then attended Colgate University on a football scholarship.
He began his career first in sales at Look Magazine and then Purolator Automotive Products and was a Manufacture’s Agent in the Automotive Aftermarket for 20 years until cars and car products started being made outside of the United States. He then began doing residential renovations with a friend and started his own residential construction company, American Home Crafters, which he ran for 30 plus years until retirement.
Bob loved all types of sports and raced formula cars with a Colgate friend. However, his favorite sports were tennis and golf.
Bob was also a member of AA and was successfully and deeply committed on a daily basis with that organization for the last 46 years.
Prior to living in The Mansion at Rosemont for the last 3 and a half years, Bob lived in Broomall for 25 years and Newtown Square for 32 years.
