Dr. Robert Ormanoski

Robert Andrew Ormanoski was born on April 30, 1951 in Hazelton, PA to mother Elizabeth Loretta Roche and father Leo Frank Ormanoski.
Rob began his career in medicine by working as a paramedic from 1973 to 1984. He served many communities in Pennsylvania, including Gettysburg and York. In 1988, he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), and he then proceeded to complete an emergency medicine residency. He devoted most of his professional career to working as a physician at Park Ridge (Unity) Hospital in Rochester, NY. Throughout his 40 year career, he served countless patients, guiding them through their most vulnerable moments. His innate ability to remain calm and empathetic in the face of chaos made him an invaluable clinician, teacher, and mentor.
In addition to being a gifted physician, Rob was a beloved husband and father. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing disc golf, watching classic films, listening to the legends radio station, and beating his family at trivia. Rob was a humble man who was blessed with the ability to find joy in the everyday moments of life. Above all he was an incredibly generous, kind, selfless human who devoted his life to loving his family and serving others.
He passed away peacefully in his home on August 24, 2025 surrounded by his wife, Margaret Hazzard Ormanoski, daughters; Kathleen Rachael Ormanoski and Martha Anne Ormanoski, son; Michael Robert Ormanoski, and daughter-in-law; Elizabeth Anderson.
He is predeceased by his sister; Mary Ormanoski Bradley
In addition to the family notes above, Rob is survived by his brother; Leo John Ormanoski, sister-in-law; Joan, of Fayetteville, PA; his brother; John Joseph Ormanoski of Indalia, CO; and sister; Elizabeth Ormanoski Rodda of Middle Paxton Township, PA. Rob is also survived by four nephews; David, Mark, Kevin, and James Ormanoski, and one niece; Mary Beth Ormanoski Moses
