Robert "Bobby" Pabon

Robert "Bobby" Pabon, 80, of Edison passed away peacefully at his home in Edison on November 11, 2025. Bobby was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Eliseo Pabon, and Ana Hernandez and lived in Edison for the past 45 years. He was a Mail Carrier for the Edison Post Office, retiring in 2010 after 35 plus years. While serving as a Mail Carrier, Bobby received a Citation for his Heroism when he rescued a lady that was being attacked by a man on his mail route. He enjoyed the NY Times Crossword Puzzles and watching baseball.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents, Eliseo Pabon and Ana Hernandez, his brother Ramon Pabon and his son, Alex Pabon in 2023.

Bobby is survived by his sister Elsie Pabon; his two grandchildren; Alex Pabon, Jr. and Emily Pabon; and his daughter in law Lisa Concepcion, and his pet cat Sissy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. We will begin to leave at 10 AM on Friday, November 14, 2025, for St. Raymonds Cemetery, Bronx, NY where a 11:15 AM graveside service will be held.
