Robert Joe Paddack was called home on January 13, 2026, in Richardson, Texas, surrounded by his children. He was born on August 17, 1949, in Denton, Texas, to John Wendell (J.W.) and Edna Paddack.

Robert was a proud United States Air Force veteran who served in Thailand during the Vietnam War as a Weapons Mechanic. After leaving the Air Force, he settled in Montague, Texas, where he worked as a skilled and highly sought-after machinist while raising his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Edna Paddack; and his brothers, Wendell Paddack and Danny Paddack.

He is survived by his daughter, Robin Waggoner, and her husband, Robert Guajardo; his son, Terence Paddack, and his wife, Kerri Paddack; his grandson, Matthew Sumpter; his great-grandchildren, Sam, Addie, Andy, and Elijah; his former wife, Gloria Paddack; his sister, Ann Long; his brother, Mike Paddack; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will hold a private burial at Perryman Cemetery.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with Robert in the Machine Shop at Dowell in Wichita Falls in the late 70´s to mid 80´s.
