Robert Allen Palonder

Robert Allen Palonder, 76, of Perryopolis, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at UPMC East, Monroeville. Born March 12, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Richard and Janet McIntyre Palonder. A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Mr. Palonder was a hard worker all his life and owned the Inn at Lenora's and Restaurant for 33 years with his wife, Lenora.

He is survived by his wife Lenora Uchelvich Palonder to whom he was married to for 56 years, daughter Heather Palonder & husband Steven Green of Portland, OR, son Owen Palonder & wife Carrie of Fayette City, brother & sister-in-law Roland & Barbara Palonder, sister Lou Ann Palonder, and four grandchildren Sawyer, Emily, Sarah Jane & Forrest. He is preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy & John Palonder.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:00 AM with the Pastor Simeon Hatcher of Perryopolis Baptist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, the Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Robert Allen Palonder to the American Cancer Society.
