Robert Kurt Paskiewicz, Bob as we know and love, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Indianapolis, IN. Bob was born on December 1, 1957, in Grand Rapids, MI.
Bob will be best remembered for his generous spirit and loyal heart. There was no one you could count on more to be there in a time of need to provide support than him and of course - a great laugh. As much as he would provide comfort and reassurance, he could have a room in tears with his sense of humor. Sometimes Bob wouldn’t even need to tell you the joke - he would simply give you a look and you’d already know what punchline he was thinking. We’re going to miss Bob for many reasons, some will stand out more than others to the many people he cared about and impacted, but the fewer laughs will be what is felt most abruptly in our lives.
Bob deeply loved and cared for his friends and family, including his surviving son Mick, brothers Randall and Larry, and his best friend in the world, Heidi.
He is preceded in death by his mother Nancy May Swartz, stepfather Milton Swartz, little sister Sandy Sue Swartz and stepbrother Robert Newell Swartz.
We'll gather soon to remember Bob and celebrate a life that touched so many of us. Once we've finalized the details, we'll let everyone know when and where we can come together to honor his memory.
Sorry, Bob. It won’t just be a pizza party like you asked. We’ll throw you a great one.
