Robert William "Rob" Paulk

Robert "Rob" William Paulk passed away on September 27, 2022 at peace in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born September 5, 1962 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas to Thomas Aaron Paulk and Jeannette Addington Paulk of San Antonio, Tx. Robert graduated from Tom C Clark High School in 1981 and went on to enlist in the Army in 1984. He served as a Communications Specialist and Single Channel Radio Operator both in the states and overseas. He received many service medals including, but not limited to Army Achievement Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter Badge and Army Commendation Medal. He was Honorable Discharged. He then went on to study computer science at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his bachelor's degree.
He worked as an Information Technology Architect at various companies, with the last being DELL. He was very passionate about his work and those members of his team. Robert had a passion for the outdoors that included mountain biking, hiking, golfing and playing in the rocks and mud in his jeep. His ability to crawl up any object earned him the nickname "Goat". He was a member of several clubs and made many lifelong friends.
Robert is survived by his parents, Thomas and Jeannette Paulk of San Antonio, Tx; his wife, Lisa Williamson Paulk, of Austin, Tx; daughter, Meghan Victoria Poole, Austin, Tx, son, Taylor Addison Paulk of Alabama, (wife Michelle "Mikki"); his sons, William David Bowers and Albert Tucker Bowers of Austin, Tx; sister, Jeannine Paulk Dollard (husband Mark); with nephews, Mitchell Dollard and Max Dollard of Herndon, Virginia; Uncle William Addington (wife Vikki) of Garland, Tx. He has two grandchildren, Nolan Paulk and Sara Paulk, of Alabama. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.
Robert was amazingly talented with a brilliant mind. His love for life and family, being a jokester and willingness to help any and all that needed him, make him irreplaceable. We will miss him deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 16th at 4412 Sam Bass Road at The Texas Hall in Round Rock at 4:30 PM. Military honors will begin at 5:00 PM and the family requests that attendees wear tan.
