Robert Payette Obituary
Bob served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked for Allstate Insurance, eventually opening his own office in New London, a career lasting over 30 years where he was very well liked and respected by his clients.
His interests included gardening, reading, music, photography, camping and sailing. Bob was a devoted family man, lover of animals and loyal friend who always saw the good in people.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Services will be held at a later date.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Bob was a great neighbor on Pepperidge Lane. We loved the strawberries that he shared from his well-cared for garden. May the love of friends and family carry you through this difficult time.

Please accept our deepest condolences. We have such fond memories of Bob from EL Jaycees, Lions Club, our trips to Bermuda & Block. Tropical Storm Danny while the guys sailed thru it to Block comes to mind. We enjoyed hearing from Bob via e-mail in recent years. Bob was a bright light with vivid character and kindness.
