Robert Hilding Pearson

Robert Hilding Pearson, age 78, peacefully went to his maker, surrounded by his family on December 15, 2025. Bob was born on March 1, 1947 to Pete & Mamie Pearson in Schererville, Indiana. Bob graduated from Lake Central High School where he excelled at wrestling. He worked as a pipe-fitter, local 597, his entire career. He enjoyed church, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Hilding Pearson, his mother, Mamie (Hill) Pearson, his brothers, Lucien, George, Charles, his grandson, James, and his best friend of over 30 years, Phyllis Ravenscraft. He is remembered by his sisters: Wanda (Newton) Robertson & Sue Greichunos; his children: Natalie (Joshua) Harms, Mary (Michael) Barnett, Robert (Amy), Solomon, Peter, and Andrew Pearson; his grandchildren: Stephanie (Jeffrey) Black, Jeremiah (Mai), Alyssa, Jonathan, Jayden, Kimberly & Laura; Matthew, Jacob & Dustyn; Bert & Isaac; Adam & Lisa; Pete, Noah, Nathaniel & Micaiah; Kailey, Brooke & AJ; and his many great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service held on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 5-8pm at Burdan Funeral Home 12901 Wicker Avenue Cedar Lake, Indiana 46303
