Robert Milton Peevy, age 68, passed away at his home in San Angelo, TX. On September 10, 2023.
Robert was born June 20, 1955 the fifth of six children to Charlie Emmitt and Mary Mae Peevy in Minden, LA. He married Belinda Lynn Casebeer on August 7, 1976 in San Angelo, TX. They welcomed three children, Robert Charles, Carissa Renee, and Christopher Allen.
Robert accepted Jesus as his Savior at a young age. The morning of his death, he expressed to his son, Chris, that he knew he would go to Heaven when he died. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
Robert was the owner of the All Vac Center and valued his customers. He was an avid LSU fan. He loved all things western, as can be seen by his collection. He also collected eagles, model trains, and old model cars. He loved setting up his Christmas village for the enjoyment of his grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Sr. and Mary Peevy, sister Betty Carnline, brothers, Charlie Peevy, Jr. and David Peevy, grandchildren, Kassey Peevy and Liam Peevy.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Peevy, son, Robert C. Peevy, Sr. and wife Melissa, daughter, Carissa Rice and husband Travis, son, Christopher Peevy; grandchildren, Robert C. Peevy, Jr., Miguel Peevy, Mikayla Rice, Sayde Peevy, Cody Rice, Carol Rice, and Hailey Peevy, Sisters Shirley Davis and Debbie Teakamp, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Services are Friday, September 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church 2021 Austin St., Pastor Jeff Paget officiating. There will be no visitation or graveside services.
Pallbearers are Cody Rice, Trey Jackson, Frank Jackson, Steve Whitaker, Aaron Baughman, Ben Koca, and David O'Dell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Harvest Baptist Church mission fund, 2021 Austin St., San Angelo, TX or Heartland Baptist Bible College Finance Office at 4700 NW 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73127.
