Robert Lane Peshoff, 71, of Moss Bluff passed away at 5:38 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024 unexpectedly in his residence.

Mr. Peshoff was born on March 15, 1953 in Cameron where he was raised. He worked for Crain Brothers and retired from PPG as a heavy equipment operator.

He was known for his readiness to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. Mr. Peshoff had a deep love for all animals, and he also loved to cook and share meals with loved ones. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, who he was devoted to, Renee Boudreaux Peshoff; children, Robbie Peshoff, Randy Peshoff (Katrina), Jennifer Garcia (Rolando), and Joany Peshoff; step children, Rita, Jim, Roger, and Marina; siblings, Daniel, Connie, Randy, Kathy, Sharon, and Pam; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Irene Peshoff and siblings, Deanna, Gladys, Walter Jr., Ronald, David, Judy, Larry, and Jane.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2024 in the Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Shirley will officiate. Cremation will follow the service, and an inurnment will be held at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Monday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
