Robert B. Pfeifer, age 64, passed away on December 27, 2013, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was born on March 20, 1949 in Baltimore, MD to Frank and Margaret (Davis) Pfeifer. Robert worked for Fleet Car Carrier as a manager at the Twin Oaks Terminal. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, working, and spending time with his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Pat Pfeifer of Newark, DE; sons, Mike Pfeifer and Frank Pfeifer of Newark, DE; daughter, Sandy Lough of Newark, DE; brothers, Jerry Pfeifer of Baltimore, MD and Mike Pfeifer of Fawn Grove, PA; sisters, Kathy Delosier of Baltimore, MD, Gail Pfeifer of Baltimore, MD and Jackie Quigley of NC; mother, Margaret Pfeifer of Baltimore, MD as well as 4 grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Frank Pfeifer. A celebration of Robert's life for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014, with a visitation from 2PM-4PM, and a memorial service to follow at 4PM at R.T. Foard & Jones Funeral Home, 122 West Main Street, Newark, Delaware 19711.
