Robert (Rob) Ivan Phillips, age 64, of Washington, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday,December 21, 2025. Rob was born on March 6, 1961 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert Phillip and Patricia Ullom.
Rob was a Navy Veteran, last serving on the USS Elmer Montgomery and being honorably discharged in 1981. He had many jobs throughout the years, his most recent was a Teamster driver for the Shell Eathan Cracker Plant in Beaver, PA. Outside of work, Rob enjoyed cruising on his Harley, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was very intelligent and quick witted – laughs were always expected when in his company.
He was a dog lover and the pups he left behind will miss his comforting presence. He was active in the Arms Club of Washington, VFW Post 927, American Legion Post 175, and the Elks of Washington.
In addition to his parents, Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents that held a significant role in raising him: Ivan Leslie Ullom and Marian Aliene Ullom, his brothers:Delbert (Eddie) Sinclair and Richard Sinclair, his aunt, who he was raised with as a sister: Bonnie DeBerry (Kirk), his granddaughter: Brianna Phillips-Sommer, and his nephew: Michael Newberry Rob is survived by his significant-other, Diana Cummins of Washington, PA, daughters:Elizabeth Porter (David Lahr) and Leslie Aviles (Dan Wolfram) of Minnesota, his bonus daughter: Brandi White (Justin) of Pennsylvania, his only cherished sister: Dianna Newberry (David) of Georgia, his uncle that he was raised with as a brother, Ivan Ullom(Tonie) of Pennsylvania, grandchildren and bonus grandchildren: Elaesah, Mario, Loni,Hannah, Molly, Hayden, Teagan, and many other loved ones and friends.
