Janet Chol Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes - Peters Township - McMurray on Jan. 10, 2026.
Janet K. Chol, 64, passed away peacefully at home on January 7, 2026. Janet was born on April 4, 1961, in Washington, Pennsylvania, and was raised in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, where she developed the strong work ethic and warmth that would define her life. She was the beloved daughter of the late Ann Weinch and Frank McClements.
Janet is survived by her devoted husband, Herve Chol. The two shared a loving partnership for 41 years and were married on November 20, 2012, building a life together filled with dedication, companionship, and deep affection.
Janet dedicated 41 years of her professional life to BNY Mellon, where she began her career as a secretary and went on to work in mortgage products. Through her commitment and excellence, she advanced to become a Corporate Vice President of One Mellon Treasury Services, a role that reflected her professionalism, leadership, and respect among colleagues.
Outside of work, Janet was a proud member of the Dormont Mt. Lebanon Sportsmen's Club until her failing health no longer allowed her to participate. She found great joy in gardening, especially tending to her roses, and cherished the time she spent riding horseback on trails with her dear friend Marilyn. Janet also enjoyed watching cooking shows on YouTube, reflecting her love for food and her curiosity for learning new things.
Janet's warmth, loyalty, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and colleagues whose lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.
A private inurnment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Janet, please visit our floral store.
