Robert Podany Obituary
Robert served his country in the United States Army for four years while two of those years were in Germany.
He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and camping. He collected John Deere memorabilia. Robert played the drums for a polka band in Omaha; Nebraska and he loved listening to polka music. Robert was a hard worker, had a big heart, and always willing to lend a hand to help others. He volunteered at the local food pantry. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his fiancée Celeste Parks; his daughter Dana Rae Podany Dwork; his son Dawson Podany; his grandchildren Gabriela and Jacob; sister Jackie Koperski (Bob); and other relatives and many friends.
Robert was preceded by his parents Robert Sr. and Dorothy Podany; and his brother Jeffrey A. Podany.
Friends will be received from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home-Camdenton. Military Honors will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, August 15, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home-Camdenton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020 (573) 346-2090. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
