Age 84 of Maplewood
Passed away peacefully after a long illness on February 22, 2025. Born to Catherine & Joseph Polzer on February 18, 1941. He served overseas in the US Marine Corps. Retired from Horner-Waldorf Paper Company after many years. He loved all sports, especially baseball and hockey. His life was centered around his family. Preceded in death by parents, Catherine & Joseph Polzer; son, Robert "Bobby" Polzer; brothers, James Polzer and Joseph Polzer; sister, Rosemary Casello; parents-in-law, Agnes & Carl Olding. Survived by wife of 56 years, Patricia "Pat" Polzer; sons, John Polzer and James "Jim" Polzer; sister, Kathy Polzer; and many nieces & nephews. VISITATION Sunday, March 2 from 4-7pm at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10am Monday, March 3 at Church of Saint Agnes, 535 Thomas Ave. W., St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Union Cemetery, Maplewood.
