Robert Dennis Poole

Robert "Bob" Poole, 69, of Redwood City, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 18, 1956, in Fort Riley, Kansas, he was the son of Charles Robert Poole and Mary Cox (formerly Poole). Bob was a devoted husband to his wife, Julie; a loving father to his children, Robert and Dustin; and a proud grandfather to his five grandchildren.

He graduated from Pescadero High School and afterwards began working for himself as a carpet installer before co-owning and operating a paving business with his brother-in-law. Bob enjoyed being with family and when his sons were young, they would spend time camping, fishing and dirt bike riding. He also enjoyed the freedom of riding his motorcycle.
Upon retirement, he often visited with his grandchildren. His dogs provided him with quiet companionship and comfort. In his final months, he faced illness with quiet strength and grace. Bob was lovingly cared for over the years by his wife, and he immensely appreciated her love for him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Julie; his sons, Robert, and Dustin (Lisa); his father, Charles Robert Poole; his mother, Mary Cox; and five grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of friends and relatives.
His legacy of love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
