Robert Ragan Poston Jr

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Ragan Poston, Jr., on January 29, 2025. He was born October 11, 1971, to Robert Ragan Poston, Sr. and Catherine N. Mendenhall, in High Point, North Carolina. Robert grew up in High Point and attended Wesleyan Christian Academy and later North Carolina State University.
Robert had a distinguished career as a VP of Support Services. His dedication, talent, and contributions were widely recognized and celebrated. He was a devoted father to Abby and Pressley. He cherished his family and his friends. He enjoyed golfing, bicycling, and sporting events.
Robert is survived by his daughters: Abigail Elizabeth Poston, and Presley Isabella Poston; mother, Catherine N. Mendenhall; and stepmother, Barbara Poston.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert Ragan Poston, Sr.
He is also remembered by Simona Gallina, Courtney Lewellyn, Brent Smith, Randy Lingerfelt, Eric Burchfield, David Szwejbka, Vincent Regan, Allison Coyle and many others, with whom he shared special chapters of his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cat Tails, 662 Beach Drive SW, Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, 28469, in his memory.
There will be a celebration of life, for close family and friends, at a later date.
