Of Thompson, PA
Robert Potter, 83, of Thompson Township, PA, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.
He was predeceased by his parents Francis & Jennetta (Holbrook) Potter; two brothers Francis Potter Jr. and Stewart Potter; sisters Janet Grasso and Linda Seeley.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Joan (Pickering) Potter; 3 sons Dean & Tami Potter; David Cobb; Robert Potter Jr.; daughter Susan & George Howser; many grandchildren; sisters Evelyn Gerchman, Twila Williams, and Marjorie Westcott; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was born in Thompson, PA and grew up on his family farm on Churchill Lake Road. After school Robert took over his family farm until his retirement. He enjoyed stock car racing, bowling, and golf. Robert will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held in the Gelatt Cemetery, Gelatt, PA at a later date.
