Robert C. Powell
Robert Cleveland “Brock” Powell, 86, widower of Phyllis Powell, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Regional Hospice Home.
Born August 18, 1938 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Robert Eli Powell and Lillian Williams Powell. He was a retired semi-truck driver for Ryder, a U.S. National Guard veteran, a Mason and a member of Progress Baptist Church.
Surviving is his son, Timothy Powell and wife Kimberly of Lake Blalock; grandchildren, Nicole Powell, Tracey Powell, Miranda Powell, Katie Williamson (Zak), Katlyne Powell; great-grandson Lukas Sharp.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by sons, Robert E. Powell and James C. Powell.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Doug Raynes officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens in Wellford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
