Robert Earl Pressley

Mr. Robert "Freight Train" Pressley, age 83, of Harriman, passed away Wednesday January 7, 2026, at Roane Medical Center. He attended both the Emory Gap Church of God and Free Pentecostal Church in Harriman. Robert worked at Acme Block / Sequatchie Block in Harriman until his retirement. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. As a proud veteran, he served with the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 359 in Fort St. John, Florida. Robert was always dedicated to going above and beyond for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughters: Lynna Hudson and Missy Brooks.

His parents: Dewey & Pearly Pressley.

Grandchildren: Teddy Pressley, Eric Pressley and Traci Watts.

And seventeen brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife: Nina Pressley.

Two sons: Bobby & Amanda Pressley and James & Angie Pressley.

Eight Grandchildren and Ten Great-Grandchildren.

And a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Sunday January 11, 2026, at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The funeral service will be immediately following the visitation at 3:00 PM with his son, Bro. James Pressley and Bro. JR York officiating. The graveside service will be held on Monday January 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
