Robert J. Provost, Sr., 61, of Plattsburgh passed away peacefully in his sleep at UVM on February 15, 2026 with his family by his side.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Robert Provost, a sister Connie Seymour, a niece Kristina LaBombard, and brother-in-Law Daniel Seymour. Robert is survived by his wife Tracey and mother-in-Law Donna, his son RJ and his wife Crystal, Daughter Marlana and her husband William, two stepdaughters Kayla and Ashley, his grandkids Seanna, Mark, Kevin (Mikayla), Serenity (Cole) one great grandchild Presley Jane, a niece Jennifer and her two children. He is also survived by his first wife Brenda.
He worked as a plumber at multiple plumbing companies and got the nickname "Plumber Bob" from the family. Robert loved fishing, playing scratch-offs, and enjoyed going to bingo. Robert also loved spending time with the family whether it was at gatherings or just in front of a fire. He enjoyed watching racing and watching his favorite driver which is Dale, Jr. His most favorite pride and joy were his fur babies Sam and Sophie. Anyone who knew Robert knew what a kind and caring man he was and how much he loved his family. Always there to help a person out. We miss him so much and we will make sure his memories stay alive. We love you.
Per Roberts request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
