ROBERT RAHLF JR.

October 29, 1961 – December 8, 2025

Robert Eugene Rahlf, Jr. was born on October 29, 1961, and entered into rest on December 8, 2025 following a short battle with Bile Duct Cancer.

Robert was born in Subic Bay, Philippines to Robert Eugene Rahlf Sr and Claudia Roth. He moved to San Diego, California and Lemoore, CA. as a child and was involved in school sports. Robert enjoyed playing on the 1980 Lemoore High School Championship Football Team, as well as baseball, tennis and basketball. After high school, he became an EMT and Paramedic working with Guardian Ambulance, AMR, Avenal Ambulance and American Ambulance. He was also a graduate of the Porterville College Fire Academy and College of Sequoias Nursing Program.

In 1983, Robert married and in 1990 became a father to Christopher Rahlf, the joy of his life. He enjoyed coaching little league as well as camping, fishing, quadding, hunting and golfing.

In September 2000, Rob met Marilyn Robison and they were married in April, 2001 and Robert became the stepfather to Alissa and Andrew Robison. Nothing meant more to Robert than his family. He loved helping everyone and see them succeed. In 2008, after completing nursing school, Robert worked at the Coalinga Regional Medical Center, Adventist Health in Hanford, CA and Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson, CA.

In 2012, Rob and Marilyn moved to Rancho Murieta CA where a promotion at Sutter Hospitals led to his position as a Case Manager, a position he held until his death.

During Rob and Marilyn's marriage, they enjoyed traveling to Lake Tahoe and Maui, Hawaii. They enjoyed cruising and sightseeing together. They also enjoyed attending class events with the Lemoore Class of 80 group.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Claudia Roupe and his father Robert Rahlf Sr. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Marilyn Rahlf, his son Christopher Rahlf of Hanford, CA., his stepdaughter Alissa Robison Vargas (Jon) of Mound City, Ks, stepson Andrew Robison (Amanda) of Lodi CA, grandchildren Joseph Vargas, Lily Robison and Magnus Robison with another grandson due in May, stepmother Pat Rahlf of Troy, Ohio, sister Catherine Cornell of Mondovi, WI, sister in law Kathleen Edelblute ( Jeffrey) of Rancho Murieta CA, and aunt Debora Brewer (Gene) of London, Ar, and several nieces and nephews.

Robert was a loving husband, a true friend, and a man of integrity and who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Spring of 2026. Private burial was in Lodi, CA.
