In Loving Memory of Marilyn E. Rahlf -
With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Marilyn E Rahlf, of Brookfield WI, on March 28, 2025, at the age of 87. She most recently resided at Heritage Senior Living in Elm Grove, WI, where she found joy and companionship in her last year.
Marilyn was born on November 22, 1937, in Hartford, WI, to Henry and Caroline Schellinger. As a devout Catholic, and a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Wauwatosa, WI, she spent much of her adult life volunteering as a Eucharistic minister and assisting in various church activities.
Marilyn had a passion for collecting antiques and cherished time spent with family and friends. Her greatest joy was hosting lively family gatherings, where her warmth and hospitality made everyone feel at home.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Sue (Scott) Burkhardt, Mark (Jen) Rahlf, Jackie (Greg) Schimmel, and Michelle (Jeff) Kornburger; her eight beloved grandchildren; and her ten great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rahlf; her parents; three siblings; a son in law; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Though our hearts ache at her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 12130 W. Center St., Wauwatosa, WI, on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Visitation will be held from 9:30am -11am, followed by a service at 11am.
