Robert F. “Bob” Ramstack, age 85, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at his residence. He was born on March 30, 1940, in Watertown, WI, the son of Francis and Mary (Coppersmith) Ramstack. On April 23, 1966, Bob married the love of his life Arlene Orlikowski in West Allis, with this year marking 59 years of marriage. Bob started working at the Milwaukee Journal right after high school and retired after 37 years. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and was a member of Holy Family Parish where he was a past Parish President. Bob was also St. Vincent de Paul Fond du Lac Conference President for 6 years. Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene; his children, Lynn (Brad) Mellenthien, Mark (Alicia) Ramstack, Tom (Lauri) Ramstack, Tim (Anita) Ramstack, Vicki (Jim) Denzin; he was a proud Papa to his grandchildren, Paige (Matt), Ashley (Mitch), Bryce (Tori), Megan (Matt), Trent (Summer), Hailey (Ryan), Kayla (Hunter), Rylee, Josie (Zach), Jack, Aiden (Abbey), Emily, Julia, Tyler, Nicole, Allison, Logan; great-grandchildren, Wesson, Cooper, and Parker; his sister, Sharon (Al) Sindorf; his brother, Doug (Kathy) Ramstack; his in-laws, Thomas (Pat) Orlikowski, Diane Olson, and Ruth (Larry) Schimmel; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Wanda Orlikowski; brother-in-law/friend, Dave Olson.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12 noon at St. Peter’s Church-Holy Family, N8079 Church Road, Malone, WI, 53049. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 12 noon. Cremation will follow the service, and private interment will take place at a later date at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
