HELPER -Our beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many, Robert (Bob) Regruto, 76, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who was born in Price, Utah to Alfred and Helen Dally Regruto on October 15, 1948.

Robert attended local schools and graduated from Carbon High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served his country during Vietnam. Shortly after discharge from the military, he returned to Carbon County and began working for Utah Power & Light as an electrician. Bob worked at the Hunter and Huntington plants and eventually retired from the Carbon Plant where he made lifetime friendships while working at all three plants.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who married Nita Durham on April 11, 2000, in Mesquite, Nevada. Together they made many fond memories, and Regruto loved nothing more than spending time with family, creating memories with loved ones and relaxing with his friends.

Robert was an active member of Price Elk's Lodge # 1550 where he was a Past Exalted Ruler. He was also a member of Carbon Lodge # 16 F. & A.M. of Utah where he was a Master Mason. Regruto also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, shooting the breeze and enjoying a beverage with his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Regruto, Helper; daughter, Timberly (Brian) Erickson, Price; mother-in-law, Joan Durham, Elmo; grandchildren, Desteney, Taylor, Jessica, Ryan (Anya), Jayden, Lacey (Michael), Austin, Riker and Cody; great-grandchildren, Desterey, James, Phoenix, Haven, Axell, Ruger, Roper and baby girl Jeffs on the way; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Regruto, Hope, Idaho; sisters, Robyn (Steven) Opheikens, Salt Lake City, Randi Robinson, Washington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a community of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Helen Regruto; sister, Roxanne Eckert; daughter, Carolyn; father-in-law, Bill Durham; sister-in-law, Jackie (Gene) Spigarelli; and brothers-in-law, Bobby and Billy Durham.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Robert's longtime friend Sam McGinnis, the staff and members of the Carbon Country Club, his buddies at the Silver Dollar and Price Elk's Lodge; the staff at Mitchell Funeral Home, and a special thanks to Symbii Home Health & Hospice, especially Diane.
