PRICE - Our beloved mother, grandmother, friend and dear neighbor, Helen June Stevens Priano, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2025.

She was born June 15, 1933 in Fairview, Utah to Lloyd C. and Elvie M. Hurskainen Stevens. On January 30, 1954, Helen married Elmo Priano in Las Vegas, Nevada; he preceded her in death on October 25, 2010.

A proud graduate of South Emery High School, she had an early career as a local telephone operator at Mountain Bell. She later went to work at the Carbon Hospital in admitting and eventually transitioned to an admitting supervisor position at Castleview Hospital.

Helen enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crafting jewelry- each handiwork made with the same deep love she so affectionately shared with her family, neighbors, and friends. Helen was an excellent cook, who had a knack for making the best homemade bread for toast. She was also an avid rockhound, with an impressive collection spanning from her many travels.

Helen, alongside her beloved husband, enjoyed spending the winter months in Apache Junction, Arizona; but they were always eager to return home to spend time with family. Above all, they were her greatest joy in life. She cherished every opportunity to care for her grandchildren and was deeply proud of her entire family and all their accomplishments.

Helen cherished their annual outings to Lake Powell, from boating to camping, and the memories made alongside her family will truly last a lifetime. Helen's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, through her unwavering acts of love, kindness, and generosity over the years.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Priano of Price, and Elaine (Eric) Allred of Helper; son, Todd Priano of Price; along with her loving grandchildren, Nikki, Michael, Jessica, Deric, Anthony, Jayden, Heather, Dylan, and Chance; and great-grandchildren, November, Colton, Mike, Costa, Dominic, Elliot, Theo, Marcus, Brody, Khloe, Kambree, Kason, Konner, and Koy.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elmo Priano; son, Lloyd W. Priano; granddaughter, Tory Himonas; brother, Neil Stevens; and sister, Flora Johansen.

Graveside service, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Price City Cemetery where the family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
