Robert W. "Bob" Reinhardt Jr.

Robert W. Reinhardt Jr., 76 (formerly of Hampton Twp. NJ) passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2024, surrounded by his children.
Bob was born July 7, 1948 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Robert and Shirley (Lawrence) Reinhardt.
Following his 1966 graduation from West Orange High School, Bob worked various hospitality jobs prior to joining Public Service Electric and Gas, where he advanced from Meter Reader to the Collections Department, to the Supervisor of the Call Center before retiring in 2006.
Bob married his loving wife, Judith S. Eid, on August 21, 1971, and the two of them shared a lifetime of love for bowling, cooking and baking, traveling, fighting over the TV remote, and spending time together as a family.
Above all else though, Bob's greatest and most rewarding job was raising his four children with his wife Judy, teaching them the values of hard work and self-reliance. As a father, Bob loved being there for them. He volunteered at school events, attended band and choir concerts, and enjoyed watching wrestling matches. He took great pride and joy in his children's many accomplishments.
For Bob, family and friends always came first. A devoted, kind, and honest man, he was always happy to lend an ear or a helping hand to anyone in need. Being an organ recipient helped Bob live life to the fullest and make each moment a memory of a lifetime for himself and all those around him.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Shirley Reinhardt, his wife of 50 years, Judy, and his daughter, Heidi Renee Reinhardt.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Julianne, Jessica, and his son, Robert (Jess), his grand pups Harley and his "best girl" Georgia, and a host of family and friends.
Bob loved telling a good story, eating Dot's Homestyle Pretzels, and watching the NY Yankees and Jets.
