A retired Professional Engineer and compressor salesman for Ingersoll-Rand Co. Born in Kentucky and resided in Saint Francisville, Louisiana, he died at the Crossing in Baton Rouge on August 26, 2025. He was 86 and was married to J. Penny Ruiz Reinhardt for 65 years.
Entombment will be at Grace Episcopal Cemetery in St. Francisville in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army are requested.
Predeceased by his parents, Frank S. Reinhardt and Martha Evelyn Gillespie of Houston, Texas and three half siblings, he is survived by his wife and three children, Janice R. Spurlock and husband Barry, C. Eve Clevenger and husband Mark, and Robert Kennard Reinhardt and wife Christie A. Noland.
He will be missed by four grandchildren; Dalton M. Clevenger, Logan R. Reinhardt, Audrey A. Reinhardt, and Brianna J. Reinhardt; as well as two adopted. He graduated from Texas A&M University.
Among his many community services was that of the “Dam Man” for Lake Rosemound Campsites. His sharp mind, humor, and loving presence will be sorely missed.
