Richard Reinhardt Obituary
Richard G. Reinhardt
August 28, 1955 – September 3, 2025
Age 70
Richard G. Reinhardt, 70, of Indian Trail, NC, passed away on September 3, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 28, 1955, to the late William Glenn Reinhardt and Kathleen Reinhardt.
On November 15, 1980, Richard married the love of his life, Brenda, and together they shared 45 wonderful years. She was blessed to hold him in her arms as he took his last breath on this earth.
If Richard was your friend, he was your friend for life. He was loyal, thoughtful, and kind. Music was his passion, and he shared it with everyone who would listen. He was a master prankster with a sharp, sarcastic wit, and his enthusiasm for life was infectious. His smile could light up any room. Most of all, Richard was a man of character, integrity, and determination. He never gave up. Having already beaten his first fight with cancer and many other challenges, he faced his most recent battle with positivity and courage until the very end.
Richard retired from Flextrol Corp after 20 years of dedicated service. In his free time, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life-working in his yard, reading, and savoring a cup of coffee outside in the early morning while listening to the birds. He especially cherished time spent with family and friends, with one of his favorite pastimes being listening to music together.
He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Brenda, his loving family, his many nieces and nephews, his close friends, and all whose lives he touched. Though he has left this earth, his spirit will remain forever in the hearts and minds of those who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at our home on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. Friends and family who know our address are warmly welcome. For those who may need directions, please contact Brenda directly or reach out to the funeral home. We invite you to share a cup of coffee with the family as we gather to celebrate his life.
It was Brenda's lifelong wish to add a puppy to her family & Richard made a promise to her that it would happen. In honor of Richard, Family and Friends of Brenda would like to collect funds to make that wish come true. In lieu of flowers we hope you'll consider contributing to this fund.
