Robert Wayne Resh

Robert Wayne Resh, 67, of Greencastle, PA and formerly of Hagerstown, MD passed away, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at his home.

Born Saturday, January 3, 1959, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late James Lewis Resh and the late Constance Glenna (Shambaugh) Resh.

Bob was a 1977 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. Bob went to work with his grandfather and father at Jim's Always Restaurant. He devoted over 30 years of his life to running Richardson's Restaurant, (along side hid brother and sister) creating not only a successful business but a place that became part of so many people's lives. His dedication, and hard work left a lasting impression on everyone who walked through the doors.

Bob was a member of the Washington County Restaurant and Beverage Assn. where he was Past President. He was a member of the Washington County Republican Club. Bob volunteered with SCORE and was instrumental in establishing the James L. Resh Memorial Scholarship at HCC. Bob enjoyed golfing, skiing and live music and played bass guitar in several bands in his early years. He was an avid Ravens and Oriole fan. Bob's greatest joy was his daughter and his four grandsons.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren R. Bradley and husband Ralph, sister, Vicki A. Martin, grandsons, Ralph "Cort" Bradley, IV, Landon R. Bradley, Hunter M. Bradley and Kaleb S. Bradley.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Edward "Butch" Resh.

Private memorial services will be held with the family.
