Robert C. Resides Sr., 84, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at IHS Latrobe Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Latrobe, a son of the late Charles and Wilma Henderson Resides. Bob was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served with the 2nd Armored Division, stationed at Fort Hood, Germany, and Vietnam. He was a member of SonRise Church. Robert retired from Charley Brothers and, in his spare time, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Above all, his family was his greatest treasure. His loyal companion, his dog Lilly, was always at his side, a constant source of joy and comfort. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoring wife, Jean (Baughman) Resides; his daughter, Beth Ann; and his brothers, Jerry and Douglas Resides. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his children: Robert Resides Jr. of Latrobe, Rebecca Lukacs (Joseph) of Latrobe, Nadine Resides Thomas of Latrobe, and Donna Marie Moyher (Greg) of Blairsville. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Derek, Mylee, Hannah, and Quinten; great-grandson Seth; and several sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in MCCABE FUNERAL HOME, 300 W.
