Robert Retelle Obituary

Robert was born in Methuen, MA, the son of the Robert L. Retelle of Warwick and the late Mary E. (McGeoghegan) Retelle.
He was employed at Fed Ex for over 30 years, retiring as Ramp agent at the airport. He has lived in Coventry since 1979.
Robert was a parishioner of Sts. John and Paul Church in Coventry. He was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School (50-year graduate).
Buddy was an avid sailor who enjoyed being on the water.
Besides his wife and father, Mr. Retelle is survived by his loving children Robert E. Retelle of Greene, Jennifer L. Almeida (Joshua) Hope, RI, and Lauren A. Retelle of Warwick. He was the caring brother of Brian E. Retelle of Warwick, William J. Retelle of Warwick, Susan J. Jarbeau of Warwick, Mary-Beth Moran of CT, Denise A Palizza of Warwick. Grandpa Bud was the cherished grandfather of Emma and Ethan.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 9:30am from the URQUHART – MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue (Route 5) Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Sts. John and Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 959 Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the funeral home.
