Robert A. “Bob” Reyer
Robert A. “Bob” Reyer, 71, died January 13, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Reyer was born in Flushing, New York and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Bob graduated from Alfred G. Berner High School, class of 1970, and then from Farmingdale State College in 1972. He worked at Allstate Insurance Company for over 36 years. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge #2466 of Clifton Park, New York, and The Grumps Club in Upstate New York.
Bob enjoyed golfing, reading, watching sports, and cars. He really enjoyed watching NASCAR, NHRA, PGA, NHL, NFL, and MLB.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Reyer of Fort Pierce, FL; children, Karen (Brian) Georgia of Port St. Lucie, FL and Michael (Alexia) Reyer of Elmont, NY; grandchildren, Allison Georgia of Port St. Lucie, FL and Leo Reyer of Elmont, NY; siblings, Thomas (Eva) Reyer of Commack, NY and Glenn (Patricia) Reyer of Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur “Artie” Reyer and mother, Geraldine “Gerry” Reyer.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.
