Robert Ricciardello, 72, of Manchester, Connecticut, died on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, due to a sudden illness. Robert served as a beloved friend, mentor, and highly regarded dental professional who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of growing close to him.
A graduate of Boston College and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he was a very well accomplished and extremely intelligent individual. He was an avid hunter and fisher and had a great love for the outdoors. He will be remembered for his compassion and charitable nature towards animals, his beautiful barn and apple orchard, and resounding words of wisdom that live on in those who were lucky enough to speak to him.
His survivors include his mother Helen Ricciardello of Quincy, MA; brother Fred Riccardello of Roswell, GA; and close friends Lynn Richard, Brooke and Michael Almeida, Donald Smith, Jason Lerch, and Antonio Orellana of Marlborough and Manchester, Connecticut.
A memorial service dedicated to Robert's remembrance will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, at 6 p.m. at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, CT 06040, a visitation hour will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA (www.ASPCA.org).
