Robert James Richard, 87, of Green Bay, passed away on November 4, 2025.
He was born on September 19, 1938 to Robert V. and Theresa (Strucil) in Houghton, Michigan. He was raised in Stambaugh, Michigan, where he attended High School and met his wife to be Susan. After graduation he joined the Coast Guard where he served his time of service in Baltimore, Maryland. After his time in the service, he attended Northern Michigan University where he earned a Master’s Degree.
His professional career included teaching Industrial Arts at Preble High School and serving as a director of Curative Workshop. Most notably would be his time as a Home Builder in the area. He was very active with the Brown County Home Builders Association serving in official roles locally and nationally.
He was a member of St Agnes Parish and Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. He was very active in both parish’s donating his time and volunteering his expertise.
His hobbies, focus and devotion were for his family as he always was offering support, providing experiences, and sharing his love for one another.
He and Susan have been married for 63 years.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Susan; five children, Cheryl, Michael (Kelly), Patrick (Jaime), Thomas (Amy) and James (Vladie); and grandchildren: Katie, Nicholas, Franklin, Shae, Graden, Sophia, Luceena, Eleanor, Theodore and Ayla Raye.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Robert's wishes, a private family service will be held.
