Robert "Bob" Ridout

Robert "Bob" C. Ridout, age 93 of Dodgeville, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at CrestRidge Assisting Living in Dodgeville. Bob was born on October 3, 1931, in Weyerhaeuser, WI to Cyrus and Veronica (Rozak) Ridout. He was a 1950 graduate of Weyerhaeuser High School. Bob worked for 39 years as a commercial plumber for Pharo Plumbing and Heating and P.H.C. Inc., before retiring in 1994. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, dancing, watching baseball and football, and telling many good jokes.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents; grandson, Adam Yanna; three sisters: Gert (Ray) Colbeth, Dorie (Len) Salewski, and Linda (Fred) Hennekens; and brother-in-law, Johnny Weyek.
Bob is survived by his significant partner of 37 years, Janice McMannes; two daughters Sharon (John) Egan and Diane (Martin) Wolk; four grandchildren: Breanne Yanna, Carson (Missy) Yanna, Elena Wolk and Ethan Wolk; first great-grandchild; sister Carol Weyek; brothers Don (Barb) Ridout and Tom (Sherri) Ridout; many nieces and nephews; Janice's children: Lori (Corey) Davis, Connie Kosharek, Scott McMannes and Ricky (Gina) McMannes; ten grandchildren, Brandon (Ann) Kosharek, Todd (Mariah) Wienkes, Kyle (Kierre) McMannes, Shelbi (Jaren) Kosharek, Kari (Matt) Menke, Claire (Patrick) Jambor, Halie (Chelsea) Riordan, Karen McMannes, Paden (Jerica) Kosharek, and Riley McMannes; seven great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, Dodgeville. Pastor Mark Williamson with burial at EastSide Cemetery, Dodgeville. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, July 11, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and again on Saturday, July 12, beginning at 9:30 am until the time of service.
