He was born on January 5, 1950, in Frederick, Colorado to the late William D. Riley and Lucille V. Riley.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Riley and Davey Riley and two sisters, Kathy Orta and Mary Ann Schell.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Riley of Medina, Tennessee; two sons, Robert "Rob" Riley (Roxanne) of Mead, Colorado and Brandon Riley of Fort Collins, Colorado; daughter, Nicole Rarick (James) of San Diego, California; sister, Linda Forshey of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Kelsie Riley, Logan Riley, Trevor Riley and Lincoln Rarick.
