A donation has been made to the Central Minnesota Dementia Community Action Network in memory of Bob by his sister Karen's North Dakota girlfriends and their husbands: Susan Peuser, (Kerry) Roberta Meyers (Thom Miranda) and Kari Brantley. Some of us remember his high school band the Gremlins.

We are so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. The Ringstrom family and Carter family go way back to when we were young kids in Devil's lake. Bob had reached out to me a few weeks ago and we messaged for about a hour catching up. It was so nice to be in touch again. I wish we could have more time to catch up. My brother Brent and I will miss Bob. Barb you and your girls are in our prayers.

I first met Bob in 1972 in Arlington Virginia were Bob and I attended Marine Security Guard School. Bob was my Squad leader during school. ( Pictures Attached) Upon graduation Bob was stationed at the US Embassy in Ankara Turkey and I went to the US Consulate in Istanbul Turkey. We managed to stay in touch through the years and he was a wonderful person. After the military Bob also pursued a career in Law Enforcement as did I and he and Barb once visited Marsha and I in Fort Lauderdale where I worked for the Coral Springs Police Dept. Their trip was cut short due to a Hurricane and they both had to leave. I will never forget Bob's wonderful chuckle and keen sense of humor. He was a wise man and respected by all of us who know him. Barb and family we are sorry for your loss. All or love. Rick and Marsha Quigley

Bob was a second Father to me throughout my childhood. I will treasure all of the memories I have with him at the cabin and life in general.
Thank you Uncle Bob for the knowledge and wisdom you passed along to me as I grew up. Especially all of the incredible laughs you goof ball!
I will never forget you and will always love you Bob.
