Beloved husband of Suzanne. Loving stepfather of Timothy Snyder and Christopher (Allison) Snyder. Dearest grandfather of Ainsley and Katelyn Snyder. Dear uncle of John (Liza) Roach. Dear brother of the late John Roach.

Bob was a dear husband, uncle, stepfather, grandfather, and life-long friend to many. He worked for and retired from DTE where his final assignment was as a Project Manager for the Y2K changes. Bob was proud to have served our Country for 23 years in the Army Reserve and retired with the rank of CW2.
Bob was an avid boater and loved his time with friends and family on Cass Lake and the Detroit River where he was a member and Commodore of the Edison Boat Club. He was involved in many special projects at EBC, including significant renovations, Multi-club Regattas, restaurant improvements, and grounds maintenance. Bob also loved skiing and made yearly trips to resorts in the U.S. and Europe with his favorites being Aspen, Colorado, and Zermatt, Switzerland.
After meeting his wife Suzanne, they moved to Florida. They were Snowbirds at first, but eventually lived full-time in Naples. He was actively involved in their community, leading a multi-million-dollar landscaping contract, as well as serving on the Board of Directors and was President of Village Walk's HOA.
Bob was a beloved uncle/surrogate dad to his nephew John, and his wife Liza. He was single until he was 60 and met Suzanne. Not only did he gain a wife and partner, but he also inherited a ready-made family of two children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren, along with eight brothers/sisters-in-law and their families.
Bob was respected and loved by all who knew him, be it coworkers, friends, and family. He is reunited in Heaven with his late mother and brother.
