Robert Gene Gallo, 66, of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, June 14, 2024 at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 W. Shawnee Rd., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Reverend Jim Oakley officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10 – 11am Friday at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Rob was born on November 10, 1957 in Chicago the son of the late Ronald and Shirley (Kiel) Gallo. He graduated from Bridgman High School in 1976. On September 29, 1984 he married Tamara Mayer. Rob’s career as an Electrical Tech began at Weldun Industries and he retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 2020, after 21 years. He most recently worked at Edgewater Automation. Rob enjoyed WWII history as well as making models. He was a proud NRA member. Rob also enjoyed working on his hobby farm “Willow Fair Farm.”
Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Tamara; their children: Patrick (Elizabeth) Gallo, Carissa (Austin) Lange, Levi (Samantha) Gallo, and Alexis (Kyle) Dewey; grandchildren whom he adored: Elijah, Jaxson, Jonah and baby arriving in December; two brothers: Ron (Sandy) Gallo and Rodney (Tina) Gallo; a niece, Dr. Morgan (Travis Cooke) Gallo-Cooke; nephews: Ryan, William, and Sam Gallo; great nephew, Benjamin Cooke; and many dear cousins.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
