Robert Allen Roberson

Robert Allen Roberson of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on April 23, 2024, at the age of 65. Robert was born in Michigan on August 22, 1958. For nearly 4 decades, Robert worked in public service, accomplishing many great things during his lengthy career.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, Juanita "Nita" Roberson, and his son, Austin Roberson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Li; his son, Dylan Roberson; as well as four brothers, Tom Roberson and his wife Kathleen, Don Roberson and his wife Julie, Michael Roberson, and William "Bill" Roberson, and several nieces and nephews.
Though he had a tough, somewhat intimidating exterior, Robert was a kind person with a tender, loving heart, especially for the people he loved. Full of quiet charisma, he had many friendships but in day-to-day life, enjoyed keeping mostly to himself. While he worked hard, he certainly liked to play hard, too. From the time he was a young man, he was quite skilled athletically. He liked to play baseball and basketball, and he enjoyed watching football, especially when he could cheer for his "home" team, the Michigan Wolverines. Of course, anyone who knew Robert knows just how much he loved a good game of poker, and he often looked forward to adorning his body with new animal-themed tattoos.
Yet, it was family that was most important to Robert. He loved the people in his life fiercely, and deeply. As we reflect on a life well-lived, let us remember Robert Allen Roberson for his zest for life, his dedication to the people he loved, and for all the wonderful things he achieved during his 65 years on this earth. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live forever in our hearts.
